Description of the Festival

The traditional Tuscan cuisine has always seen a rich preparation of croutons, reds, blacks with black cabbage with sausage. Classic opening of the table of holidays, today they are an essential component of the appetizer. The festival founded in 1956 has the intent to "celebrate" one of the most famous dishes of Tuscan cuisine.

CROSTINI WITH CAVOLO NERO: Ingredients: Black cabbage, unsalted homemade bread, oil, pepper, salt, garlic. Take the black cabbage and after removing the outer leaves boil it in warm salted water. When the cabbage is almost cooked, toast a few slices of homemade bread cut a finger high. As soon as you remove the garlic from the grill, rub the garlic over it and place the cabbage pulled out of the boiling water without draining it. Add a pinch of salt, plenty of extra virgin olive oil, a light sprinkling of pepper and the dish is ready.
