Description of the festival

The festival is an evolution of the Festa dei Villeggiante, which over the decades has increasingly sought to enhance the products of the area and in particular the white potato of Faltona, with which the main dish is prepared: potato gnocchi.

POTATO GNOCCHI: Boil the potatoes in salted water, then peel and pass them still hot to the peeler, collecting them on a work surface. Add flour and salt and mix well until you reach a fairly soft consistency. On the pastry board, make small cylinders like a finger and 2-3 centimeters long. Boil them in boiling water and as soon as they come to the surface, drain them and season them with meat sauce or meat and mushrooms.
